i wanted to share that i have been following through on these lovely practices, you have given me Thank you. Wednesday I lost my cell phone. I was irritated, but I said thank you. I repeated the affirmations and worked through my irritations…I received your email on “smiling” as well. I realized I really do need to smile more. That evening I didn’t even call to have my phone turned off. I felt somehow I would have it back…The next day Thurs going about my day in the same way , saying thank you smiling affirmations along the way as I worked. When i got home I got an email on where my phone was. So i have it back….Life is good :-) Miracles of grace love this!

I just happened to stumble across your site after doing a Google search related to the movie Avatar. I ended up reading the article and very much enjoyed your article about the movie. I am a (Sunni) Muslim, and have never given much serious consideration to tasawwuf (sorry!) before, but your insight and the presentation of your ideas really resonated with me. I took the liberty to read/watch several other postings on your sight which I thought were really beneficial as well. You mentioned above in a response to a comment that you have a “group” in Temecula. Do you happen to know of any such groups in or near Houston, Texas? I am interested in learning more about your path of spiritual excellence as a way to augment, not replace, my present religious tradition. If you have any suggestions on such groups, or even reading material, I would be very grateful.

I am also Suni and have been interested in this path for sometime. I have expereinced some of the states described and the simple steps are exactly what I needed to be reminded of. I am in Toronto. Is there anyone you know of in this area that can help develop my spiritual progress? I have longed for a teacher for sometime now. Perhaps I am still not ready but I’d like to test the waters :)

Hey Ishan,
I really like what you are teaching. I never followed any religion but I did start searching for a spiritual meaning to my life because I was always trying to fill a big empty hole inside me. I’ve read a lot of books, like the Power of Now. The biggest obstacle I had was consistency. My life has gotten a lot better over the years but I still feel like I could make more progress faster.
I’m from Belgium so I can’t join your group. Any known groups on the other side of the ocean? :)
